Pickleball

Pickleball

Pickleball is becoming the hot new game!

Pickleball is a fun and exciting sport that combines elements of Badminton, Tennis and Ping Pong. It is played on a court the size of a Badminton court, with a low net similar to Tennis, and with what looks like an oversized ping pong paddle and a whiffle ball. As one of the fastest growing sports in the nation, Pickleball can be played indoors or out by people of all ages. Our Y now has 2 outdoor pickleball courts and a modified indoor court in the Group Exercise Room.

Beginner clinics and open play times are held during the Spring-Fall months, so keep watch for the 2022 schedule. Equipment is available for us at the front desk. Grab a friend or 2 and come try out this fun, NEW sport.
